The social determinants of health are the circumstances in which people are born, grow, live, work and age. These circumstances are created by the circulation of money, power and resources at global, national and local levels. The social determinants of health are mostly to blame for health inequities, the inequitable and preventable differences in health status seen within and between countries according to the World Health Organization.
Now, if we are best informed of the social factors that can determine the status of our health, we can then work in the right part of getting a better health. Lets share some of our ideas and knowledge of the factors that can determine our health. The negatives and the positives.

Community care is care delivered to you anywhere you are instead of been cared for in the traditional hospital setting. So you can treated at home or in the nursing home. Can this work in Nigeria? Should it be encouraged in our health care sytem? Will this be cost effective? what will be the weakness and strengths?
